Fishing Report from the Ultra Grand Slam 9/1/03 There are still a few dolphin being caught in the blue water, but the sailfish action is beginning to pick up early. Sometimes things happen that way. Usualy they begin to show up good by mid October along with the blackfin tuna's, and some wahoo as well. The fall is a great time to be fishing in Key West. It begins to cool off a bit with some of the first cool fronts of the year showing up. The rates for hotels drop dramatically also this time of the year. Yellow tail snapper fishing along the reef usually get's going strong this time of the year too. So lets get down here, and tear up some fish. It's so good. Captain Craig Jiovani |
